VR technology for countering FPV drones
“Counter-Drone” is a modern VR-based anti-drone trainer for training shooters to engage attacking FPV drones using a pump-action shotgun, a Kalashnikov rifle and an AR-15 rifle across different locations, including from a vehicle.
The instructor builds the scenario and monitors the shooter's actions on a tablet, while the virtual environment lets the shooter practice reaction speed, coordination, tracking and engaging FPV drones.
The software allows configuring the number, speed, altitude and flight trajectory of drones, weather conditions, time of day and location. Ammunition, weapon parameters and sighting device settings are also available, along with a training mode with visual prompts.
