VARTA.SYSTEMS opens a multimedia shooting range for police training in Kropyvnytskyi

In Kropyvnytskyi, on the training grounds of the FSC ‘Dynamo’, a new VARTA.SYSTEMS multimedia shooting range has opened for practical law-enforcement training. The system makes it possible to model various operational situations and train in a safe, controlled environment without using live ammunition. Officers can practice responding to simulated threats, operating indoors and in open terrain, and coordinating with several colleagues while carrying out training tasks.

For training, the system is equipped with four types of training weapons fitted with laser modules: Makarov and Glock pistols, and a Kalashnikov rifle along with its modification. The mock-ups replicate weapon models used by National Police units. An important part of the system is its software, which makes it possible to build various scenarios and adapt training to specific objectives. Software updates and an expansion of the system's functionality are planned going forward.

The multimedia range holds particular significance for young law-enforcement officers: it helps them move from theoretical training to practicing actions, develop faster decision-making, and work through simulated situations as close as possible to real duty. According to the leadership of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kirovohrad Oblast, at the time of opening this is the only complex of its kind for police training in the region. For VARTA.SYSTEMS, this project is another example of introducing Ukrainian interactive training technology into the professional training system for security forces.

Our goal is to build technology that lets people train more, more safely, and more effectively.
